This program allows you to experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty.
If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience and to identify which Specialty programs interest you.
You will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification after completing this program.
Attention: The Advanced Adventurer certification is not counted towards the AOWD Recognition.
To achieve one or more specialty certification(s) for the AOWD, you may decide to complete one or more of these specialties. Your dives from the Advanced Adventurer course will of course be counted.

This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely dive from a boat, allowing you to get the most from your underwater opportunities.
You will earn the SSI Boat Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

The SSI Cavern/Cenote Diving program provides divers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct limited penetration, no-decompression dives in natural environments, to a maximum depth of 30 meters or linear distance of 40 meters, and using specialized overhead environment equipment and procedures, with an equally- or more-qualified buddy.

Expand your limits!
The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational total diving system and a single decompression cylinder.
You will learn and practice how to effectively use your dive computer features, including switching gases, gas integration, time-to-reserve, and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning.
Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being restricted by the traditional no-decompression limits. The opportunities to expand your diving adventures have just got bigger!
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification, 16 years old, 24 logged dives, have the following certifications: Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox

Dive deeper!
Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk.
The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 18 meters and is a prerequisite for some advanced training.
You will earn the SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification, 15 years old

This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit.
You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving.
You will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

Let’s mix it up!
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.
Diving with enriched air can increase your no-decompression limits, increase your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air.
You will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this program.
