SSI Try Scuba

The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time.

You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving.

At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and undoubtedly want to go diving again.

SSI Scuba Diver

This program is for students who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program in one place.

It provides you with the training and experience required to dive in open water environments under the supervision of a dive professional.

The equivalent of this program is the first half of the SSI Open Water Diver program. You can finish the second part of the OWD certification in any SSI diving centre around the world at your convenience.

SSI Open Water Diver

SSI Classified Diving

The SSI Classified Diving program provides students with limited mobility with the adaptive training necessary to dive with one or more Classified Dive Buddies, and/or a Classified Dive Professional depending on their abilities, in environments and to depths equivalent with their training.

Upon successful completion of the Classified Diving program, students will earn a Classified Diving Level 1, 2, or 3 certification depending on their ability to independently perform skills, and to assist a buddy in need.
